Where shall I put a velux?

I want to put a velux in our spare bedroom. It'll be on the same wall as the bed.
Do you think it would look nice above the bed or to one side.
I initially thought above the bed, as you could look at the stars, but now I'm having second thoughts, that maybe to the side would be better as it would give a bit more head height to the slopey ceiling.

I'd probably put it over the bed for symmetry and to look at stars. Good black out blind needed too though.
