Probably could never afford it but if i was to buy the neighbours house and make our two semi's a detatched house would the value of the detatched house be double the value of two combined semis if I were to sell it down the line? Or would it be less than or more than double.
Wishful thinking on my part but it would make a nice detatched house and save me doing an extension too. Not many detatched houses in the area either but it is a 60's house (not so charming) so you'd be competing with houses for over half a million if i wanted to sell it and get my money back. Not convinced many would pay half a million to live in an old 60's home on a street of modest semis.
