crack in bath

Only just had the bathroom done. Found a crack under near where the hand shower goes.
Does anyone know if we can get a repair kit to fix it? It's only a little one about 1.5 cm big.
Is it worth trying to repair...please tell me because I really really don't want to replace a bath less than 6 months old.
I think it's an acrylic one. Bloody thin Sad

you can bodge a repair with Araldite applied from underneath. Meanwhile start saving up for a new bath. Sadly thin plastic is not durable. Look at the thickness which makers will specify in the brochure if they are proud of it.

Steel ones are not a lot dearer.

Look at Carronite but be prepared to be stunned.

If you go for white it is easy to match.

Also, the plastic panels supplied as standard are very flimsy, so look for one that will not crack when your knees touch it.

Thanks. It's a p shaped bath so may not be as easy to find a steel one. I shall start looking. I shall have a look at that make you mentioned. So annoyed. Of course none of the children have owned up to anything.
