Hello,

We're thinking of redoing our kitchen but on a budget, and I came across The Kitchen Restoration Company www.kitchenrestoration.co.uk/

It looks exactly what we're after - has anyone used them? I'd love to hear recommendations (or not!) from previous customers before we commit.

Am only at the brochure ordering stage right now so interested to hear all/any opinions.

Thanks v much!

Hi, just wondering if you ended up using this company as I'm considering it also. If you did, can you give me an indication as to approx cost please? Many thanks.

Wouldn’t touch this company with a barge pole. I know someone who had their kitchen done ,doors not fitted properly nearly a year later a lot of phone calls you know the type we will ring you back but never do. Emails that they never reply to.
All the sales patter but none what so ever after service they don’t want to know.

Please do not use the Kitchen Restoration Company, based in B'ham. Their workman was here yesterday and I am devastated by the shoddy work he has done. After he'd gone I noticed a door was 9cm too long for the cupboard. A carpenter friend came in and had a fit, pointing out that the whole work surface around the sink is upside down. He's put rough side up, you can feel the smooth side underneath. Joints in the wrong place, terrible silicone. I just hope I can get them back or I will have to take them to court

I have been advised by the bank to take out a Section 75 Claim against them

Do not under any circumstances use this awful company. We paid £7,500 for a 'kitchen makeover' by them earlier this year and 8 months later, the kitchen cupboard doors are both peeling and warping - they are not even waterproof - in a kitchen - the most used room in the house. Every time I have contacted them they pass me from pillar to post/never phone/email back as to how they will resolve our issues. They also seem to employ 'fitters' who are not really qualified fitters at all - many seem to not be from UK and arguably not trained to same standards as Uk ones. We are now going to have to replace all our kitchen cupboard doors again and could have bought a new kitchen with what we will have eventually spent overall with all of this. Also beware that the so called 'Kitchen Restoration Company' is also the same as the appalling 'Kitchen Magic' and their renaming themselves like this is just typical of all their underhand, awful, dishonest company tricks. Avoid them like the plague.
