Where do i start with Windows?

All the time indies in our house need replacing. I would like kid but don't fancy the maintenance. Have bay windows and sash. Any top tips?

If they are old wooden sash windows it's probably going to be much cheaper to get them repaired. The money you save can go in a maintenance pot for painting. Upvc aren't maintenance free and could even devalue your house.
