Nice, quiet. Good transport links with the tube and overground into London. Little high street with Waitrose and a few shops. Decent large park.

It's lovely. I have driven past there a few times and it's a lovely place, big houses and a big M&S not too far. It's far enough from London to feel a bit like a village but not too far (think about 30 minutes to London).

It's a lovey spot - in fact, it recently won the "healthiest" high street in London, thanks to its restaurants, cafes, nice supermarkets (M&S, Waitrose) and not very many of the negative aspects of London living (fried chicken joints, etc).

It's well located - Finchley to the south with great shopping, Barnet to the north with a range of shops and a Carluccio's. Yet you can walk up to the Orange Tree and be in the countryside within 15 mins.

Good schools - esp if you're Jewish.

Not surprisingly, a lot of people living here return as adults once they have families, which probably says it all.
