I've ordered a bespoke painted kitchen from diykitchens in F&B Dovetale. (pale grey) The carcase they recommend is oak. However, the only unpainted wood in the kitchen will be a dark, almost greyish wood tabletop and I'm worried that the two different woods really won't go together. The company has tried to reassure me that the oak won't be on show at all when the cupboards are shut but I know it'll still really bug me when I open them! Should I go for a white carcase as that's what the other main colour in the kitchen will be? But the guy at diykitchens seemed to hint that that would cheapen the look of a solid wood kitchen.
Any thoughts under be much appreciated.
