Looking for opinions from anybody who's had work done in their house that involved new plasterboard and then had an Ames tape and fill finish.
We're in the middle of extension works and we've just realised that the builder intends to "tape and fill" all the newly plaster boarded areas. We had assumed it would be a skim finish. I've never seen a tape and filled wall and have no idea if the finish is any good or not. Hubby is worried it'll look a bit crap!
Anybody had this done and can offer reassurance?
