Am being a bit dim about these changes, and thought someone here may know!

We own a BTL property.
In addition, we will be selling our home and moving to another one. Will we be liable to pay the additional 3%?

Yes, you will have to pay the additional 3% after April.

It applies to BTL and second homes.

If you are replacing your main residence, no, you won't pay the extra.

If you are buying a new BTL (or other second/further property), yes, you will.
