Cost of a pre-moving in deep clean?

Can anyone give me a rough idea of what it would cost to do a deep clean of a 4 bed house after the vendors have moved out and before we move our stuff in?

Sorry I can't be more specific about square metre size but we're talking living room, kitchen, large kitchen diner, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a study.

All floorboards/tiles apart from one bedroom with carpet and the main applicances will have been taken away so there will be gunge from behind them to get rid of. The vendors have kept it fairly clean so no real nasties.

The owners of the cleaning company who we have been recommended are actually our next door neighbours-to-be! They've quoted £350 and I have no idea if this is reasonable. We're in North London.

That sounds pretty reasonable to me. In South East I have been quoted about £450 for similar.

Sounds reasonable given size of house. Partner quoted £550 for a two up two down terrace in Northern England! Admittedly it was filthy.

Similar sized house here - I was quoted £180 recently. I am leaving before the removal company has finished and wanted someone to come in rather than drive back for four hours. East Anglia.

That is for cleaning floors (no carpets at all), two bathrooms, four bedrooms, three reception rooms, farmhouse kitchen, two pantries and a utility room incl windows inside and window frames.

Have to say that it is fairly clean to begin with but I had a figure of £200-250 in my head so I was pleased.
