How long did your Local Authority search take?

...and which LA was it?

I'm just trying to figure out a general idea of how long we'll have to wait. We've got most of the searches back now, just the Bankruptcy and LA search left. Searches were submitted on 16 Feb.

We're buying a house in Sefton.

the authority will be able to tell you, although your solicitor should know. It changes, and will be getting worse with cuts.

my council (not yours) took four weeks a couple of years back but it is now much worse.

We just sold our house in Wiltshire and the LA searches took 6 weeks to come back. They are quoting between 6 and 10 weeks when we spoke to them.

One of the slowest apparently! Tedious!!!

Ach, I feel daft - the LA website says! FTM, obvs.
