Where will you suggest is the next best to live if disregarding Altrincham due to its potential fracking?

Well there are fracking licences all over the North West - if you google "map of fracking licences" you will see which areas of the country where there are currently no licences. The licence that covers Altrincham covers the whole of the area - Knutsford, Bowdon, Hale, Timperley etc so you're going to have to go much further out if you want to avoid any area where fracking is a possibility (and it is only a possibility at this stage).

I don't mind to go a bit further out, as long as the primary and secondary schools are good and not too far away from Manchester City Centre as we both work there. For school purpose obviously Trafford area would be the first choice. But due to the uncertainty about fracking I'm looking to next best areas for schools. From my engineer colleagues' point of view, fracking is inevitable in the future.
