Washing machine taking forever!

My washing machine seems to be taking 3-4 hours to do a 1 hour load. And even longer to do a cotton wash. It's a Bosch Exxcel 8.

I probably need to call an engineer, but just checking that there isn't something obvious I should check before I do so?

Have you checked the filters? When ours took forever to finish its wash, it was a colour catcher sheet in the filter causing it to block.
