New house layout-help please

Moving into my own end terrace house next month and wondered if anybody has a similar layout and what they've done to improve it?
I have a bit of money to do it with so was thinking :
Adding a shower room to top floor.this will be for 2 teenage girls.
Where would the best place(and easiest ) to put this?on the landing or a jack and jill(or is this a bad idea??)
Moving the kitchen into the middle room and msybe making the under stairs cupboard into a pantry.knock the wall through to the existing kitchen and have a seating area and doors out onto garden
I would like to keep a utility room(for the dog,shoes etc)
I would prefer not to build out and not fussed about an island or a toilet .would prefer a table in middle of kitchen
What do you think?any better suggestions?

All your water /plumbing appears to be at the back on the left ( looking at kitchen drawing /bathroom position etc) which might make moving the kitchen and adding the shower a challenge for drainage etc - so before you get your heart set on it - I'd suggest you ask a general contractor with plumbing experience to come and do a feasibility check ... As it might end up costing more than you were expecting ?!?!

Is there anyway you can extend over the bathroom to add another bathroom on the top floor?

If you move the kitchen to the centre I would create a new door to the sitting room from the hall so you don't have to walk through the kitchen to get there. I would also move the utility to where the kitchen currently is, making it as small as you can, then having the utility and any reclaimed kitchen space as a family room open to the new kitchen. The layout of your kitchen/family room may be dictated by plumbing feasibility.

My house has some similarities in layout, in that the kitchen is in the centre. Our challenge is natural light, so we are putting the utility in the darkest part of the house (don't think you can) and then opening up as much as possible between the kitchen and the outside. It looks to me like currently the utility is in the side return which is probably the lightest part of the house. Provided it is/can be built with a decent level of insulation this seems like a waste of natural light, which I presume is lacking in the current dining room.
