moving to Ludlow

Anyone in or around Ludlow or Shropshire who could fill me in on how good it is for families? Have a 2.5 yr old and one on the way. We love the outdoors so Ludlow looks like a good option?

I have a friend who lives in Ludlow, her children l(boys and girls)love it, seems a very friendly place, I go quite a lot and she has the most fabulous support group of friends and I always have an amazing time when I stay, always has something interesting going on.

Thanks so much for the reply! I love the look of it and am training as a forest school assistant so looks like there's a lot of activities which would support that. I worry slightly that on the odd occasion we would like something other than outdoors to explore it would be limited but sounds like there's plenty to do do you know if there's a swimming pool and which schools are good?
