I need a beautiful kettle

Anything but Dualit. My toaster has been going strong for 10 years, my Dualit kettles have never lasted more than 2.

Is there such thing as a stylish, efficient and quiet kettle?

I have a Kitchenaid one in cream and it's gorgeous

I have the smeg toaster and kettle . i think it's lovely .

I too have the cream Kitchenaid one. It looks fab but has started to go wrong after only 2.5 years . It will only boil at 100 degrees now, and can't be set at the lower ones or it goes into beeping frenzy.

Looking at the reviews all the kettles seem to have some negatives.
I love the shape of the Smeg and the gorgeous Kitchenaid.

It's just a kettle so what's the issues? It as far as I'm concerned there are no problems . We bought online and had an issue with the lid after a few months , my dh emailed smeg and they came and got it with a brake new replacement . Can't say fairer than that.

True. My PIL have the Smeg and also had problems with the lid, they put it down to lime scale which we don't get.

I have the smeg and the letters are just stuck on, looks cheap. The toaster has proper metal letters and looks a lot more stylish. I still like it though.

We have this KitchenAid kettle. It's lovely.

We have an Alessi, it's the cooker top version but I lurve it! It has a little bird which whistles when the water has boiled :-)
Was expensive but worth it imo. I believe they do electric kettles as well?

We have the Alessi electric kettle, What . It's about twelve years old now and still going strong.....we love it!
