Magnetic catches with overhang for loft doors

Please can you help me find what these are called. We have small doors in the loft room to get into the storage part. The doors swing freely both ways and the wind means they are swinging open and making a draft. I'm looking for magnetic catches to attach to inside of door and inside of wall so it would need an overhang on the wall part for the magnet to stick to. Like this but with an overhang..., but I can't find them as I don't know what they're called. Help please

you may need to show me a diagram, but the sort you show can be used by screwing the large magnetic piece to the doorframe, so it will stick out, and the flat piece to the back of the door. This means that the doors open away from the magnet, but cannot open towards it.

Ordinary hinges only swing one way (unless you break them, or buy expensive saloon-door hinges).

If there is no batten round the inside of the opening, for the door to close onto, then it will be draughty.

would a cabin hook do it ? on the outside ?

Sorry it's taken so long for me to reply but needed to squeeze behind the bed to take a photo. You're right they don't open inwards fully but it swings in about 4 inches or so and comes out fully.

This is the wall the catch needs to go on, it's very thin so no room to put the normal magnetic catches. The hook is an option but I wanted it to be a tight close to reduce as much draft as possible. Maybe a bolt?

screw a small piece of wood to the "frame" under the magnetic part so that the magnet will touch the flat plate on the back of the door when the door is shut.

You could also screw the magnet to the floor.

You really ought to fix a batten all round the opening to reduce draughts
