Front door opening outwards?

It would work a LOT better for our new front door to open outwards.....would this be a silly idea?

The side door into our garage opens outwards, pain in the ass as the wind catches it of you leave it open. But couldn't open in- if a car was in the garage the door would hit it.

Our back door opens outwards, as does our garage door (like patio door style) and we've had no issues with those actually

Ours does, is a bit funny watching callers shuffle, we did it for practical reasons as well

Last house we had front door opened outwards, no rain came in, no security issues and it made getting the buggy etc in a damn sight easier because there was room to manoeuvre.

This house back door opens outwards and it just makes sense to us. No issue at all.

As PP said only thing with front door was people standing too close......but it was good for cold callers

Yeah I think anyone who comes regularly will soon learn.

I am thinking we should go for it really
