Leasehold and Right to manage

Currently having a nightmare with a property management company. Does anyone have any advice for setting up the right to manage? We are a converson of 3 flats. One might not want to join in...we have major works to do which the management compnay have failed to get going and the freeholder is a nightmare (absent). HELP!!

It's really easy if you have more than 50% willing to enter into the arrangement. Just contact a company (we used leaseholddoctors.co.uk) and for a few hundred quid they will set it all up for you but, be warned, the freeholder has an automatic right to join as well so if they are obstructive rather than just lazy/unbothered, it might not be the end of your woes.

Great thanks I found one called Urban Zone and they see really helpful 480 inc VAT for 3 flats. We are all in fortnately although the otehr 2 need to actaully sign the form and pay up..fingers crossed. Th elandlord is just woefully lazy and just sitting waiting for pay day when we extend our leases!
Do you use an accountant and are you all directors? Any tips?

Our situation was slightly different as it was absent freeholder and we wanted to be in a position to insure the building etc. We did this and then were able to sort out acquiring the freehold so we dissolved the RTM but we were all directors - never got to the point where we had to do accounts.
