Anyone used Jack Brunsdon windows?

They have about 6 showrooms around the Thames Valley and so far I've been impressed by the windows on show. Have had a guy round to do a quote 2 weeks ago and still not received it.

They're pretty expensive; around £2k to £3k per window.

Am a little concerned that I can't find any reviews other than the ones on their own website.

Any personal experience?

This is way too late but I saw your post when I was just searching for reviews about Jack Brunsdon. We placed an order and paid 50% for a front door on 31 January 2016 and were told it would be fitted within 12 weeks. Over seven months later they are supposed to be coming to fit the door this month. They do not reply to our phone calls or our emails and customer service does not exist. I hope if you went with them you had a better experience than us but I have never felt so negative about a company and would never recommend them. I have never paid so much (they are expensive) to be treated so badly. I hope you got some lovely windows from someone and had a good experience.

Totally agree! Very Expensive, wanted £7k+ for a front door and 2 side panels, managed to get them down to £5k. Ordered in May should have been installed in August, came in first weekend in September only to discover door was incorrectly made. Asked for refund, ignored. Basically they give the impression of being a good of fashioned company, however they are Oxford Double Glazing and we all know about trusting double glazing companies. Lesson learnt, small claims court he we come!

Very frustrating company to deal with. No communication, do not return phone calls. Door took 6 months to get here, and not right. Various promises and attempts to correct problem, but still waiting. Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with, and very expensive. Whole experience has been completely at variance with their claims in their glossy brochures.

Really? That's v interesting! I noticed this thread title then realised it was me, months ago

I am really very happy with them, I had no problems at all except that the sales guy totally messed up the original quote but the quality of the windows is superb and the fitters were great.

It was very expensive, but has totally transformed the front of the house for £20k so I'm happy.

Interesting... We had a quote for a door from them and we were debating about going with them or not. Wooden doors for an average 3 bed terrace house seem to cost 3k upwards sadly these days, so we've been 'deciding' for a while as to me 3k seems a lot for a door for an average terraced house not on London but in the south east. I figured other option - a the joiner who then needed a glazier to do their bit and a decorator to paint it and we needed another chap to fit it might be problematic as all the tradesmen could blame one another if there were issues. Hence why we were thinking hiring the one company (i.e. JB) to make/paint/glaze and fit the door would rather simplify things. Maybe not then...

We are in exactly the same position and have lost trust In company.
After reading the other messages did you go ahead? I fear as it is so difficult to get a door it may well be impossible to get our deposit back.
