So when we get round to it we need to re do the flooring throughout the downstairs of our house.

The corridor will be bamboo flooring, off the corridor comes 3 bedrooms and the lounge which will be carpeted and the kitchen which will be tiled

Which flooring should we put down first?

Kitchen first because of potential dust and muck from tile adhesive and grout, then any of the others next - possibly best to do corridor next and establish where doorplates go then carpets fitted up to them.
