I really like those 60s bathtaps with the long coney head - like this:

That second link is to a salvage website which is offering them for £90 + VAT! But I'm nervous of the original article - will it be straightforward to fix into modern fittings? Does anyone know of new ranges like this?

Hi I have seen your post - if you know who manufacturered them I can find out options for new replacements.

Oh that's kind! I'll do some research and come back to you, many thanks.

they're called Supataps. Quite popular among 1950's revivalists.

I don't know if they are still made.

The chrome is often worn away because people used acidic or abrasive cleaners.
