Buying Corian online

Has anyone ordered Corian on-line and then had their own builder & plumber fit it? I am looking to order a Corian vanity surface for a row of existing fitted cupboards in our ensuite, ideally I am looking for one that incorporates a basin. I have had a quote from a local supplier that seemed very high (£2100 for 1630mm long by 60mm deep incorporating a basin) - quotes includes templating and fitting but excludes taps, plumbing etc.

Does anyone know if this is reasonable? And has anyone ordered on line from a direct supplier?

Any recommendations (or companies to avoid) welcome!

I had the fabricator fit and finish it. It took two guys several hours. I had a 3m run and a 1.5m run 60mm with double sink (Corian) and hob cut out, and it was less than you have been quoted with the vat. I went factory direct a place that would normally fits hospital work areas and dentist surgeries. No showroom brochure and fancy quote with drawings etc but great service and end result.

Thanks Lelivre, that is useful info - now to find a reasonably local fabricator - East Anglia, anyone?
