Another bathroom question - lighting?

Wetroom currently being sorted but I have realised I haven't considered ceiling lights.

I have 2 nice wall lights from fired earth to go on either side of mirror above basin but will obviously need lighting for the ceiling.

What do people recommend - are those little sunken ceiling lights really over now?

There are lots of rules regarding what sort of lights you can have in a bathroom and how far they can be from sources of water. You should talk to your electrician to get an idea of what is suitable. Personally, I think recessed spotlights work quite well in functional rooms such as bathrooms but they have to be a specific voltage to pass regulations.

Oh yes recessed spotlights that was what I was thinking but couldn't remember what they were called.

Thanks - will mention to electrician.

i dont think recessed lights are over and cant see why they would be. too practical and also quite minimal/ not intrusive.

we have them a bathroom from 7 years ago and have within the last 6 months, installed them in a extension and en-suite.

i think chrome will look sleek, white a bit plain/dull but thats just my opinion.

an extension, obvs!
