Worcester Greenstar boiler issue, error code EA with red flashing light and no hot water. Going to phone landlord today but should I turn off the boiler in the meantime or just leave it?

No expert but we have a Worcester .Lots of trouble when first installed ,flashing red light .We never switched off and was fine .

Inside boiler on drop down "door" should be error code list with explanation s .
Ours was overheating ,but all was fine .Think they switch themselves off ,so no need to panic .
Hope landlord helpful .

I don't have this boiler but definitely do as gingeroots suggests and look up the error code, either on the boiler or online. We did this for our boiler and it was hugely helpful when explaining the problem to the engineer, got it sorted quicker. There also might be some troubleshooting you can run through yourself once you know the error - it should say in your manual or online.
