Can this house be extended?

I'm thinking of putting in an offer on this house, the location is perfect for us and we love it... But my parents have out me off slightly by saying that due to the unusual garden/s shapes you wouldn't be able to extend (also with it being halls adjoining.)

In an ideal world, the house would have a bigger kitchen, and a downstairs WC/utility... But that's not possible here is it?

It's hard to tell where the house is located on the plot. You could knock the kitchen through to the rear lounge to make a lovely room across the back. Poss add a utility onto side of it too. You could also probably go into the loft too at some stage

I think you could put something that is well designed and thought out on the side. Create a kitchen diner will give you a much better usable space.

You also should be able to go out the front to the building line to extend the small bedroom and put on a porch.

Key would be getting a few architects around to come up with different ideas.

I agree about knocking the back lounge and kitchen together, everything is fantastic apart from the small kitchen, it doesn't seem to match the rest of the house.
