Side return extension to kitchen

Has anyone completed one recently and don't mind sharing what was your budget and what did it include?

Probably useful if you could let me know region of the country you live in too please.

Not done one - but just spotted some advice on another thread - which recommended that putting a closed in utility in that space would save loads as there would be no need to remove the existing structural wall...

Thanks but not really an option for us as kitchen is just too small and cramped.
