Quickstep laminate ruined?

We have dark oak quickstep throughout the downstairs of our house...... it was laid only a few months ago.

Since it was laid we had a wall taken down in the kitchen and dust got everywhere! Now the quickstep in the living room has a white dusty film on it that won't seem to clean off. I have been using the proper quickstep laminate cleaner but it still has this chalky look.

Is it ruined or is there any hope that it will eventually clean off?

Could you not give it a one-off gentle hand scrub with a soft brush and a tiny bit of soapy water and then dry it well? I don't see how dust could 'get into' laminate. Is it the stuff with a very textured surface?

Yes it has a textured surface.
It just looks very chalky since the building work but it's been washed ten times or more.
