buying house with underfloor heating

We've made an offer on a 20 year old house which the current owners have built.

It's on a hillside and has underfloor heating.

Just thinking ahead to surveys etc - would surveyors check the underfloor heating?

I'm also thinking that because it's on a slope, we should get a structural engineer in?

The house is currently empty as the owners (elderly) have moved into sheltered accommodation so all systems would need to be tested.

Any tips appreciated.

What type of underfloor heating? If wet, thats great. If electric, not so great - really expensive to run.

It's wet - run off an oil fired central heating system

But my concern is how would you check pipes etc were all in order?
