Candy/Indesit/Hotpoint?

What are these brands like in general?

I'm looking at kitchen appliances and these brands seem to be coming up a bit cheaper, specifically the induction hobs. I don't want to send more than I have to but I also don't want to spend too little and get a dud hob!

As far as I know, they're all linked companies. FWIW, I've had washing machines / dryers / FF and been pleased with them.

We had 2 second hand Hotpoint washer/dryers and they just kept going. We now have a new Candy one and I love all the different functions on it and it's a good size. We have a Hotpoint gas hob, no problems with it. In fact my GPs had Hotpoint washing machine and dryer for years and years. I'd always go with them, not sure about Indesit, we had a cooker once and it was ok. It did last a good few years and a few house moves until it packed up.

I admit I'm more wary of Indesit but I don't know why, I think I just don't know it as well. I just Google for reviews on something and given I can't afford the high end expensive brands, these work well for us. Oh we also have a Hotpoint integrated dishwasher. Seems good but we've only had it about 6 months and we don't use it often.

I have an Indesit washer - best one I've had! 4 years old now and no problems at all.

Had my indesit washer/dryer for 10 years. Still going strong

I'm really happy with my cheap Indesit integrated dish washer, we've recently moved and bought the same model again. Because there's a door on the front and the kitchen itself looks high end no one can tell we've economised on appliances! If that mattered like if we ever came to sell.
