Currently looking into buying in one of these areas. The size of the houses you can get for your money seem reasonable for our budget - whats the pro's and cons of these areas?

Train connections into London from Reigate are a pain (have to change at Redhill). Dorking's v.rural and slow train to Waterloo.

reigate much nicer,

School places are trickier to get in Reigate, if that is a requirement. Dorking cheaper for equivalent house. Traffic through Reigate centre gridlocks at the slightest provocation.

HI
Need some advise between Epsom and Reigate
My husband has got a job at St, Thomas's and son has got a seat at Reigate Grammar.
We are looking to live at Epsom or Reigate. But I have 2 other sons who need to go into state schools. So considering travel, house prices and schools, which is a better place to live between Epsom and Reigate. Although open to other suggestions to live between London Waterloo and Reigate.
TIA
