Cream or White Gloss?

We are getting a new kitchen - Howdens Glendevon range.

I'm torn between getting white or cream. I prefer the cream (actually prefer stone but think it may date sooner and be hard to match colours to) but would like a greay quatz worktop. Would that work? I'm not sure if it would clash or look strange together, with cream being warm and grey cold?

I didn't actually want a gloss kitchen, or white but we keep coming back to that as being the best option. Our kitchen has been opened up to the dining room but it's an awkward space and can be quite dark.

I don't think grey and cream go together particularly well in general although it does depend on the exact shades involved.

No i don't think they do either, but am worried white may be too stark.

You can soften white by using coloured tiles on the splashbacks, interesting jars and accessories on the worktops etc. I don't know if it is a stand-alone kitchen or a kitchen diner but if it's the latter then wooden or coloured furniture/rugs in the non-kitchen area, pictures on the wall etc. Or you could get a kitchen from somewhere other than Howdens which his more to your taste .

It's a kitchen/diner. No other option but Howden's as we are in a hurry. And they all seem to sell the same kitchens with different names anyway.

I want Quartz worktops in Grey which will have an upstand attached so no tiles.

I'm bad at picking colours to paint the walls. I like blue but my living room is blue and it seems silly to have the same colour twice.

This is my kitchen (Magnet). White gloss with pale grey Quartz counters (from elsewhere as cheaper). I really love it. It's also a bit of a dark space depending on the time of day. Whe shiney White reflects what light there is and brightens it up hugely. It used to be fake wood with dark grey granite effect laminate work tops. Big difference. Go with white!

I really don't like the cream as we have been looking for our knew kitchens, just looks like someone has been smoking in the kitchen and looks yellow.. I have gone for the cashmere

That was my worry about cream. I liked cashmere but wasn't sure what it would go with in terms of worktop and flooring. What are you having? My heart is set on grey quartz.
