Any thoughts on Roof Lanterns/ Bifolds

We are just starting a kitchen extension and are looking to have a roof lantern. Any recommendations for companies and a rough idea of price would be much appreciated. Also Bifold door thoughts would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi, we are in the same position. I can't help you with prices yet as we are also researching! We are thinking of possibly a frameless roof lantern. Have no idea where to start with the bi folds - might even go for French doors!

We have bifold doors that are made from aluminium (slate grey). We also live in England and have a north east facing garden but have the bifolds open most days from April to mid September. I LOVE them

I would just say to be careful. My sister did this (large roof lantern plus wide bi-folds) and the room (massive kitchen extension ) was unbearably hot over summer. They've had to install blinds on the bi-folds and air conditioning.
