Just about to purchase our quick step laminate flooring but been advised of two different underlays by different fitters. What did you get with your quickstep laminate and are you happy with it?
We have concrete floor so need something with a dpm. One room has underfloor heating (kitchen), then having it in the hall and lounge. I want something that will reduce the noise you hear when walking on it which makes it sound hollow.
One master installer uses Duralay Tzmbermate Excel and the other uses a fibreboard. I'm edging towards the Duralay but wonder if any mums netters would care to share their experience.
