Hi we are a small family: ds and myself (having split from my husband).... looking to start afresh in Hampshire where I have lived previously. We are currently living in Cambridge and am thinking of moving to a village near Winchester - commutable to London if necessary for my work. Any suggestions for nice friendly villages with community spirit - shop, etc so don't have to drive everywhere on days off and for ds to make new friends. DS currently 8, academic but also sporty and am thinking of Kings school in Winchester for secondary if we are lucky followed by PS. Any ideas for good places to live ..would be very greatful!
