Hi,

Just wondering how I can find out what % of houses in my area go for asking price, or any data on asking price vs sold prices....any idea?

If you look on zoopla, and look at property history you can see the last listing for the house which shows the asking price.

Its not there for every property though.

The other thing about sold price data is that it can take three months or even longer to be available on the property websites. When providing valuations estate agents should be able to back them up with evidence and recent agreed sale prices which aren't yet available online.

Googling the address (street may be enough) and rightmove brings up historic listings.
