Cashmere Kitchen cabinets

Has anybody got cashmere coloured kitchen cabinets?

We are looking at getting cashmere gloss cabinets. I'm wondering what goes with the colour in terms of worktops, flooring etc. Does grey work?

Hi, we've just taken out our cashmere gloss kitchen as a result of an extension but before we decide on doing it I did look at updating the worktops/tiles/floors etc. I found that anything grey didn't work because the cashmere colour was too creamy (it was Alno cashmere not sure whether it would be the exact colour as the ones you are looking at). There are a number of quartz colours that are more in the creamy rather than pure white/grey spectrum which worked well. I also looked at some bushboard (cheaper alternative to quartz) and some of their m-stone worktops looked like they would work well. One had a whiteish base with a cashmere coloured flecks to it which I liked.

Flooring was easy because most solid/engineered wooden floors and karndean went well with it. You could also go with a wooden worktop I guess but it depends on the overall look you're hoping to achieve, did you want something modern or more traditional?

Not quite what you are going for but we have these cashmere units

We have gone for solid oak butchers block worktops which look great with it

The flooring we have chosen is this - it's not down yet but I'm hoping that it will echo the colours in the worktop and the units without looking as if we have tried to match.

Trying to avoid wood as everyone says its a nightmare to maintain. Looking at grey quartz so maybe cashmere is not the way to go. White just seems so stark, and grey too ubiquitous. Cashmere seemed like a good compromise.

Would you consider a matt rather than gloss white units, we've just had these in (ubiquitous Wink) grey with white quartz and the effect is warmer and I think more subtle than gloss.

If you have a sample of the quartz you like then you could take that round to the kitchen showrooms and compare?

Don't get me wrong I love the grey kitchens but am worried that it will go out of style or that I will go off it. Am currently pregnant and can't trust my own judgment!
