Can you mop Bitumin floor?

Ddog has eaten a load of the vinyl floor in the kitchen...Angry
So at the moment we have half vinyl half Bitumin.

Can I mop it?ours is an old house so it's like a damp course

yes, but do not use solvents or sprays, and no strong detergent.

Sadly it tends to be a bit sticky and dust or hairs will stick to it, so get something down soon.

We were hoping to tile soon anyway...but will have to bump it to priority now
