A friend of mine has had her house for sale for a while. The monies from it are to be split between her and her brother. She looked after elderly parents single handed until her father died last year, and the house - her only home - had to be put on the market. It's now sold, and she rang me today to tell me she has to be out by the 16th October. She has no where to go yet, so what is the best way forward? It's going to have to be a short term let for her, but what's the shortest you can get? I've never been in this situation, so don't really know where to go, or how to help. Any ideas?
