Removal fees

Hi what are peoples experience's of removal fees? For full packing and unpacking, or just the actual moving? We are moving soon and trying to work out a provisional budget!

I live north west (cheshire) small to medium sized 3 bed semi & im not a minimalist.
Pickfords were 2100 :-/
and then I got local firms out one was 980, the other 1100
All quotes included packing at around £300 including vat.
Other things that made a difference is wether you want any furniture like wardrobes taken apart (£120 for 2 wardrobes, beds are usually included) & it was extra to get them to empty the loft (about £100)
