Neff combi oven problems

So having read lots of stuff on here about how great neff are, I ordered a Combi oven, among other neff appliances, for my new kitchen. Having delivered everything else the supplier says neff have just told them the combi won't be here until at least mid January.

So now I either have to wait four months (minimum, which will be six months since the order was placed) or send back what they've delivered and start again with a different supplier.

And I'm starting to lack confidence that neff will sort their manufacturing problems out......I'd prefer not to end up with mismatching ovens because they can't solve whatever the issue they have (first world problem I know).

I knew they were having trouble but this is ridiculous!

Is anyone else having the same problem?

Neff customer service is appalling ime. I had a very bad experience with them a couple of years ago and would never buy from them again.

We had a new oven that broke within a few weeks and it took months for them to fix it.

Yep. Bosch and Siemens too. Same company. Went for another brand in the end. PITA.

Yes, the complete shambles with the new Neff range is unbelievable.

We ordered our oven and combi in April. A month later, we were told they weren't going to have any full steam ovens until 2016(!) so had to change that. Then kitchen was installed end of June... except the combi wasn't there.

No problem, said Neff, you'll have it by the end of July. Guess what? We're still waiting, 5 months after ordering. Still no firm delivery date.

They've given us a £100 refund and some flowers, but spending £££££s on a kitchen and having a hole where the combi should be, with no end in sight, is just not acceptable. TBH heads should roll and I'd be amazed if this doesn't make many kitchen suppliers look elsewhere for their appliances.

Hmmmm that's my concern Brumeye, if you are five months in with no delivery date i don't rate the chances for those of us who've got recent orders in.

What amazes me most is that they are still marketing the ovens even though they appear to be incapable of fulfilling the orders.

Who did you go for as the alternative Lasize? My kitchen fitter grimaced when I suggested AEG......

Miele. Entry level Miele but still OUCH.

Would love Miele Lasize but as you say entry level is pretty expensive.
