Painting rangemaster knobs and handles

Hiya, we've moved house and acquired this rangemaster. We'd like to fit a new kitchen soon which will be cream with silver/chrome knobs and handles.

I have contacted rangemaster and they do not make knobs/handles for this model in silver or chrome.... So I was thinking about painting them. Has anyone got any advice about how to do this?

Or, do you think a cream/chrome kitchen would look ok with a black/gold cooker?

From the pic I thought the handles were brushed silver. I don't think you particularly have to match your cooker colours with the rest of kitchen as its kind of a standalone piece. No idea how u could paint them & as its going to be hot, touched & cleaned a lot I imagine It might be a bit difficult to find something that can with stand all that, but I've never really looked into it myself x

Yes the picture has made it look quite silvery, but the gold is very yellowy/brassy in real life.

I went into Magnet today and the man there said the same as you, that many people are fitting modern kitchens around old cookers and it looks fine
