We are moving in the near future and the bathroom could do with a revamp. It's all tiled and tbh I'd like to get them all off and replace with larger rectangle tiles on the bath / shower side.

I really don't know where I would start Confused. I'm a LP so removing them should be easy, shouldn't it?

I would have the luxury of not having to rush the job and I have approx 4hrs a week child free to do it. Maybe I should just remove them myself and pay a tiler friend to do the finishing properly.

B&Q usually have leaflets on this, also Homebase.

Removing them yourself and having it tiledprofessionally is definitely best option. They are usually quite easy to remove with a hammer and cold chisel. Once you've got one out, the others follow. Put a blanket in the bath to prevent chipping and wear safety goggles to protect your eyes from flying bits.
