Hi,
We have just had a quote for rendering and I wanted to check if it sounds ok.
The house is two storeys at the front and the back, 3 storeys high at the gable end. It's about 18 feet wide and 30 feet deep.
It is stone built and we have been advised that we should take the old sand and cement render off and replace it with lime render.
The builder has quoted £16,000 for the whole job including scaffolding. This sounds like a huge amount to us.
Any plasterers out there who can advise? Anyone had a similar job done recently?
