Slippery concrete path

Hello.

Our house is up a great big hill. The only access is up a flight of stairs and a narrow concrete path, which becomes slippery when it rains and will be a nightmare when it freezes.
We love the house so don't care, but are there any anti slip coatings that might help? Or should I make something with decking and handrails?

Plain concrete is not shiny. Is it mossy? Tiled? Worn and showing pebbles?

Doesn't decking get slippery in the wet weather too?

Definitely not decking. It gets covered in slimy algae in damp conditions and becomes lethally slippery. I've seen fine chicken wire laid over decking to give grip, however. Not sure what the equivalent would be for concrete. Some kind of rubberised strips?
