Repainting exterior door frame - gloss or not?

Finally painting over the cracked and elderly front door frame and remember that threads say modern white gloss yellows. Is this true of exterior gloss too? Should I be looking at an exterior eggshell or something?

It's a mixture of old cracked gloss and new pine (primed with knot blocker primer) where there was some rot.

gloss oil paint does not yellow where it can see sunlight.

It is harder wearing and easier to keep clean than eggshell, which is an indoor paint.

Definitely gloss. I've got an off white on my external woodwork. Looks better for longer than white in my opinion

Thanks both. I knew things had moved on inside the house, wasn't sure about outside!
