We're finally nearing the end of a long plan to move from London to the home counties (thanks to the advice from many MNetters). But we've got a big problem in the shape of a 3-week hole between tenants moving into our house in London out and us moving into a rented house in St Albans.
It's during the school term so we need to be nearby enough to do the school run into St A. We need a 3-bed house for flat from end August to late Sept. Air BnB has come up with nothing. Has anybody been through the same thing and had any success? Or other ideas?
Any help would be greatly appreciated as we're nearing the end of Aug and getting very nervous about how we're going to do it!
