Moving to Sutton - help!

I'm moving to Sutton area in the next couple of months for my husband's work with our 4month old and 1.5yr old and trying to find out where is the best place to live and best nurseries for babies. Would even consider outside of Sutton as looking for a place with good amenities and a good atmosphere :)
So confused looking through zoopla, right move etc as to which areas are the best especially for baby and toddler groups.

Banstead is much nicer than Sutton, but not too far to commute.

How close to Sutton do you need to be? And what is your budget? For example, Cheam village is down the road from Sutton with lovely amenities and schools but the prices reflect this....

Lovely groups in and around Cheam too...

Would want to be no more than about a 20-25 minute commute from Sutton. Going to rent initially to make sure we get the right area so probably around £2k. Thanks :)
