The tile showroom did not point out (and I did not check) but the tiles I have chosen for my bathroom floor are 297 x 598mm and the ones for the walls are 305 x 612mm. I plan for them to be laid staggered brick - style rather than all lined up. Is it all going to look bloody odd or will I get away with it? There are 2 bathrooms involved, one is really quite small (something like 1.8 x 2.4 m), the other is larger (3.0 x 1.8) but the walls are not being tiled all over, just round the bath, sink and loo.

or you could lay the floor tiles so the joints run at a 45 degree angle to the walls, not parallel.
More cutting involved, possibly more waste, but no misalignment issues.
