Really dull sorry

But what is the best and easiest thermostat I can get? RC plus just packed up (second one in space of a couple of months). Thought it was rubbish anyway.

Can you recommend a good one?

We've a Nest it's amazing!

A wired thermostat is less likely to go wrong than a wireless.

The simplest is a dial thermometer.

However a programmable stat such as a CM907 is better. But less simple so you will have to read the instructions.

Honeywell stats I think are currently the best.

The BG RC plus is probably a rebadged Digistat, and not considered very good. Drayton, who made it, usually make good products.

Have a Honeywell CM907, about £80 plus fitting. It is very good.
You can get a wireless version if you prefer lower reliability.
